I just thank you all for the year of 2011. It was the year of turmoil, but we could manage to weather it. And it was due entirely to your support. I do appreciate it.

I was born in the year of Rabbit (according to the Zodiac signs), and there is an idiomatic phrase in Japanese called "Santousankutu" meaning that a wise rabbit has 3 dens. But I am not so wise like the rabbit to break up all the risks I might have to face. I came through the year of 2011 without getting prepared well. Actually, I left everything to chance. Maybe, I have been always like this not just 2011(Ｔ＿Ｔ）.

 Anyway, I just thank my employees for coming along with an idiot like me.

2011 was "Tai hen" in Japanese (has meaning of "very difficult"). "Tai" means "big" and "hen" means "change" in Chinese character. It does not necessarily have negative meaning.. ⇒But, 2011 gave us a big opportunity to change.

Our sales result was not good, but above all, my best treasure is 150 employees who returned to Shima Company after being evacuated from the March 11^th disaster. And the encounter with another new 30 employees also means a lot to me. So, my treasure is "the bond" I have with those my 180 employees.

 If we wish and make effort, we can achieve better sales result, but we can not change one's mind. And this very mind seemed to have some big changes.

I tried to make changes by myself, and I always failed.....2011 the year of rabbit I will never forget it.
